Procedure Text 1: How to Study Efectively

Now, I want to give you a tips to study in effective way.

1. First, you will need:

• Study Materials
• A pencil, or a pen, or a highlighter
• Plain papers
• Coloring pens

2. Second, make a prayer.
3. Third, makes learning situation more enjoyable. You can listen a music, or keep silent, or doing something (example: eat some snacks).
4. Prepare the study materials.
TIP: The tidier the materials, the easier you learn them.
5. Prepare a pencil or a pen or a highlighter in your hand.
6. Read the subject materials carefully. Once you find important parts (for example formulas), highlight or underline that section so we can find them easily.
7. If you have finished reading, take some plain paper and cut them into several parts.
8. Create your own summary of material. Use your language to understand the material that you learn. Use the signs if necessary.
9. If the material is too wide, make a mind map. Use coloring pens to draw your mind map. Color can make it easier to remember.
10. If your mind map has finished, read again your mind map to remember it. Continue reading your mind map until you understand the concept of your material.
11. If the materials are the exact subjects such as mathematics, physics and chemistry, memorize formulas often and practice often. Practice makes perfect.
12. Done. Learning effectively make you understand effectively and save your time. So, time not wasted and  you understand. Don ' t forget to study for semester test.

Membuat Grafik Fungsi Kuadrat

Fungsi kuadrat merupakan sebuah fungsi yang biasanya berbentuk kuadrat dan memiliki dua variabel saja yaitu x dan y. Bentuk umum dari fungsi ini adalah f(x)=ax²+bx+c, dimana f(x)=y Grafik dari fungsi ini berbentuk parabola atau kurva, dimana memiliki bentuk garis lengkung yang mulus pada ujungnya, dan tidak patah-patah.

Misalkan, kita akan membuat grafik dengan fungsi f(x)=-x²+6x-5, dengan domain yaitu D=(x|-6≤x≤6,xєR), maka langkah-langkah yang dilakukan yaitu:

1.

Tentukan sumbu simetri.

2.

Tentukan nilai ekstrim(ordinat titik ekstrim).

 

3. Tentukan perpaduan sumbu simetri dengan ordinat titik ekstrim= (3,4)

4. Tentukan titik potong

*Dengan sumbu x

y=0

0=-x²+6x-5

0=(-x+1)(x-5)

-x+1=0                x-5=0

1=x                      x=5

(1,0) dan (5,0)

*Dengan sumbu y

x=0

y=-(0)²+6.0-5

y=-5

(0,-5)

 

5. Tentukan titik bantu yang lain!

(usahakan yang dekat dengan , yaitu 2 dan 4)

6. Gambar sumbu simetri (x=3) dan  titik-titik pada bidang Cartesius.

7. Hubungkan semua titik mulai dari titik (0,-5) hingga (6,-5) dengan kurva.

Lihat pada gambar di bawah ini. Kurva harus tergambar dengan mulus, dan tidak patah-patah. Kurva yang saya buat ini dapat kalian buat di Ms. Word dengan menu Insert, Shape, Line, Curves.

 

Setelah mengikuti seluruh langkah tadi, grafik fungsi kuadrat yang kalian buat telah selesai.
